Prensa De Frente, ¿why? ¿what for?

We started this news bulletin with the simple intention to collaborate with the diffusion of news about the actions, words and thoughts of social organizations that struggle.

We will publish – in each of our editions – as it already happens – the news about the fights for human rights, the claims made by employed and unemployed workers, the peasants fights, union and student conflicts, as well as all the information or analysis related to the hard social and political situation our country is in, but seen through the eyes of those that resist and look for some kind of alternative to social transformation.

A group of journalists, journalism students and social activists that develop presswork in their movements sustain this new informative attempt. We look forward, from now on, to sum the work of everybody who thinks has something to give.

With Prensa De Frente we try to recover the best popular journalism traditions, those that allowed – more than once in the history of our fight – another speech to appear next to the public one. We intend to introduce information and data about those facts that change our reality as well but are usually omitted by mass media image of reality.
